Lake of Kamaka

Kamaka lake Lomira is located in the village, which is known as a village in the Bay sailor Kamaka, Kaimana, West Papua province. This lake is about 30 km long, running from village to village and Kamaka Sharia is about 1 km wide. With the local community, the lake is also known Amafata lake.


This lake is unique because of the extreme difference between the low and high flow for a period of 5 to 8 years. At low tide, local people often use the lake for land cultivation. You can find here large fresh lobster.
